Provides research services to library members and the public as part of a team; instructs members in the use of traditional/electronic research sources and online public access catalog. Participates in collection maintenance and development; maintains research and non-fiction collections. Plans and implements adult classes/activities; provides readers’ advisory services; assists with conducting internet/other computer classes to the public.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association (ALA). PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE: Working in a public library research section; providing instructions on downloading media; presenting activities/classes/programs/instructions to groups; using computer/internet/data-based resources; providing readers’ advisory services; with collection maintenance/development. Also desirable: Bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
