This position provides administrative support for the STEM Libraries department. This involves running reports, conducting analysis, and creating learning objects that support the research and learning needs of STEM scholars at Florida State University.
Gather and report data related to the STEM Libraries activities and services. Manage LibInsights for the STEM Libraries including data analysis and report writing and representing STEM at library wide LibInsight meetings.
Maintaining and updating department documents and information using tools such as OneDrive and the Libraries wiki.
Develops and updates subject specific LibGuides and other instructional materials to improve access to and use of the library collections.
Provide office hours and remote reference services to off-campus locations such as the High Field Magnetic Laboratory and the FAMU/FSU College of Engineering.
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.
Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of data collection.
Experience working or conducting research in a library setting.
Customer service experience.
