The St. Lucie County Library System located on Florida’s Treasure Coast, seeks a dynamic, creative, and forward-thinking professional to fill the role of Senior Librarian to run a Branch Library.
Major functions of this position include professional, supervisory, and administrative work directing the day-to-day operation of a neighborhood branch library including training, supervision, and evaluation of branch staff. Will plan, coordinate, and facilitate all services to the public including information and digital literacy, circulation, programming, and collection development. This position reports to a Library Division Manager or the Library Director who reviews work for achievement of desired goals and objectives.

A Master’s degree in library/information science from an ALA accredited institution is required, and a minimum of two (2) years of professional public library experience post-degree, including a minimum of one (1) years of public library management experience in a public library setting.
