Make a difference in the busiest library in Lake County!  Our friendly team provides library services to the Clermont area, just minutes away from Orlando, by helping the community find information, check out new books and movies, and instill a love of reading to everyone who enters the building (and beyond!). Work collaboratively with peers and academic staff to provide top-notch library services, coordinate training across the library system, and grow your management skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

We’re looking for a candidate who has a strong sense of customer service (always seeking a positive outcome), a focus on collaborative problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of both branch-level and system-wide duties.  Someone who genuinely enjoys leading their team to provide concierge-level customer service will be an excellent fit on this professional team.

Performs professional, administrative and supervisory work and provides effective library services in area(s) of specialization to the citizens of Lake County. Responsible for supervising and participating in library services and programming, collection development and maintenance, facility organization and maintenance, and community relations, and may be assigned to manage the daily activities of a branch library or assist in managing the library system’s technical equipment and services.

May be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
