The Jacksonville Public Library is actively seeking one (1) Special Collections Librarian.  This is professional, advanced librarian work providing specialized customer service to researchers of local history, genealogy, and African American history.

Open Requirements:

  • A Masters' Degree from an accredited institution in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited program and
  • Two years of Special Collections, History Museum or Archives experience.
  • Depending on assignment, a valid driver's license is required and must be maintained.
  • Depending on assignment, City of Jacksonville Public Driver Certification must qualify for prior to appointment, obtain, and maintain during employment.
