The Boca Raton Library provides outstanding library services, resources, and programs that meet the educational, recreational, cultural, and informational needs of the City of Boca Raton. Public Services includes operations across four service centers – the Spanish River Library, the Downtown Library, Mobile Library Services, and the Digital Library.
Under the direction of the Manager of Library Services, the Librarian III – Public Services, provides strategic direction for library operations and patron experience, and is responsible for the effective administration and operation of major service centers in the library. The Librarian III provides library service direction and input with the intent to enhance the lives and experiences of those living, working, playing, and learning in Boca Raton.
Master's Degree in Library and/or Information Science from a college or university accredited by the American Library Association is required
Minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience working in public libraries; in addition, a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity, either in or out of a Librarian role, is required.
Possession of a valid State of Florida Class ‘E’ driver’s license
