Mandel Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic and creative leader to serve as our Technology Floor Supervisor. The Technology Floor Supervisor will work closely with the Adult Services and Program Manager to oversee 4 FTE staff, 38 public PCs, DVDs and music CD collection, a 12 seat computer lab, the Square 1 space, Digital Studios, and a soon-to-be completed maker-space area that will be called the library’s “increMental U Space.” The Technology team at the Mandel Public Library provides fundamental services such as computer classes and workshops, in addition to career development and readiness services for our visitors.

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Library Science (MLS) from an ALA accredited program of study and three (3) years of experience working as a Librarian to include one (1) year managing a library program, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
A valid Florida driver’s license is required. For application purposes, a valid driver’s license from any state (equivalent to a State of Florida Class E) may be utilized; with the ability to obtain the State of Florida driver’s license within thirty (30) days from date of employment.
The selection process for this position may consist of any, all or a combination of the following tests: evaluation of training and experience, written examination, structured oral interview or other assessment method.
