Description of Responsibilities: The Library Assistant is responsible for the successful completion of a variety of assigned tasks and projects supporting library departments. This position will assist patrons in identifying or locating material; perform data entry to library databases, records and accounts, both computerized and manual; verify accuracy and completeness of data; order materials, verify invoices and materials received; maintain and prepare complete and accurate statistical reports as assigned.
Position Qualifications Required: Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years additional related education and at least one year of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of MS Office and database software are preferred.
