This position is responsible for the administration of the library program. This includes archival functions, as well as, periodical and subscription programs.· Plans the acquisition, organization, maintenance, utilization, and retention of materials and equipment in the Corporate Library.· Maintains a working knowledge of, builds, and arranges specialized information resources, and works with users in obtaining required information from the Company and/or other libraries.· Provides for computerization of the acquisition and cataloging function.· Administers and performs duties associated with periodicals and books for all students, staff, and faculty.· Researches, acquires, assembles, catalogs, and restores, if necessary, exhibits if required.· Maintains, and stores items of historical/archival importance to the school or its development.· Orders & Distributes printed and electronic books to students as per start schedule.· Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 with one late night a week (until 9:30).
Only candidates with a Master's degree in Library and Information Science and with a minimum of two (2) years' experience of library administration in a school environment will be considered.
